KNIFE THUG HUNTED OVER WEST BELFAST ASSAULT

Woodbourne PSNI stationPOLICE in west Belfast are appealing for information following the report of an assault.

The attack is said to have happened at the West Circular Road / Springfield Road junction on Wednesday, 30th July.

It is reported that at approximately 8.30pm, an unknown male approached a 25 year old man and kicked him repeatedly before pulling a knife which fell to the ground following a struggle between the two.

Police are appealing for information and would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Woodbourne station on the non-emergency number, 101.
