GLOBAL business process outsourcer, Firstsource Solutions has reported a PAT growth (profit after tax growth) of $9million which is higher Y-o-Y by 29.7% in its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 2014 according to the Indian GAAP.

The company, which is one of Northern Ireland’s largest private sector employers, operates across three sites in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry and employs over 2,000 people.

The results follow another successful year for Firstsource with recent accolades including Outsourcing Partnership of the Year with longstanding client Giffgaff, Outsourcing Excellence Award and a new position of 12th in the top 100 Global Outsourcing rankings.

These strong financial results are also due to significant business growth worth $36 million with existing clients and new customers including significant contract expansion with a leading US telecommunications company.
