DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a distraction burglary in Donaghadee on Monday 28 July.

Two men went to a house in the Ballyvester Road area at approximately 11am, under the guise that they were working on telegraph poles in the area.

While one man distracted the male resident, the other man stole property from a bedroom in the house.

Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who knows anything about this incident is asked to contact CID in Newtownards Police Station on the non emergency number 101.
