MORE ARRESTS MADE AS POLICE CRACK DOWN ON REPEAT OFFENDERS

musgrave psniTHE PSNI’S Reducing Offending Unit say it has had a busy week, with a number of offenders facing multiple charges.

A 17 year old youth was arrested and charged with Robbery, Theft, False Imprisonment, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Possession of a Class B Drug and Possession of a Class B Drug with Intent to Supply.

The individual will appear at Belfast Youth Court later in August.

A  20 year old man was arrested and charged with five counts of Theft, Handling Stolen Goods and Going Equipped for Theft. He was charged to court and remanded in custody.

A 30 year old man was arrested and charged with three counts of Handling Stolen Goods. He was charged to court and remanded in custody.

A 17 year old youth was arrested and charged with Criminal Damage, Possession of a Class B Drug and Breach of Bail. The individual was charged to court and released on bail.

A 19 year old man was arrested and charged with two counts of Handling Stolen Goods and Possession of a Class C Drug. He will appear at Laganside Magistrates Court later in August.

A 20 year old man was arrested and charged with theft. He will appear at Laganside Magistrates Court later in August.

A 17 year old youth was charged with Handling Stolen Goods – appeared in court and was released on bail.

A 24 year old man was convicted of Burglary and sentenced to 4 months imprisonment.

An 18 year old man was convicted of vehicle crime and sentenced to 6 weeks imprisonment.
