POLICE are investigating a break-in at a Catholic Church in Downpatrick.
The PSNI say entry was gained to St Patrick’s Church by smashing the window to the visitor toilets some time overnight.
The toilet was then damaged along with seven windows in the chapel.
The incident is not perceived as a hate crime.
Officers investigating this incident are appealing for witnesses.
