PSNI NAME OAP RIDER KILLED IN THREE VEHICLE CRASH

POLICE ACCIDENT 2POLICE in Lisburn have now released the name of the man who died in a two-car crash in Co Antrim this afternoon.

He was 68 year old George Desmond Sherlock who died following the road traffic collision at the Glebe Road in Annahilt.

Mr Sherlock died when the red Honda motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a blue Volkswagon Passat and a silver Volkswagon Golf at around 3.20pm.

The road remains closed at this time.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw any of the vehicles in the area in the time leading up to the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple on the non emergency number 101.
