Detectives at Woodbourne CID appeal over paramilitary style shooting on teenager 

DETECTIVES in west Belfast are appealing for information following a shooting incident that occurred in the Rodney Parade area on the evening of Thursday 10 July.

An 18 year old man was taken to a laneway in the area just before midnight and was shot in both ankles. He required hospital treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with any information about this is asked to contact CID in Woodbourne Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
