TWO MEN HUNTED OVER EAST BELFAST ARMED ROBBERY

Police scene armed copDETECTIVES are appealing for information following an armed robbery at commercial premises in the Ravenhill Road area of east Belfast last night.

At around 9.10 pm, two men entered a shop in the area and made off with a sum of cash.

No-one was injured in the incident.

The first man was armed with a suspected knife and is described as being in his early 20s, about 5’8″ tall and of slim build.

He was wearing a dark Parka style jacket with fur lined hood, a fur lined Russian style hat, dark blue jeans and white trainers.

The other man is believed to have been armed with a hammer and is described as being aged in his early 20s, approximately 5’8″ or 5’9″ tall and of slim build.

He was wearing a dark blue and light blue two-tone jacket, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact CID in Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
