MAN REMANDED OVER £125,000 DRUG HAUL

LA 41-year-old man has faced a court charged in connection with the discovery of a £125,000 drugs find.

Richard Callaghan, of Rath Mor Crescent in Derry, was charged with possession of Class and Class B drugs, namely cocaine and cannabis, with intent to supply on Friday, June 13.

He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of Class
A and B drugs on the same date.

A police officer told Derry Magistrates’ Court that he could connect the accused to the charges.

No application for bail was made and Callaghan was remanded in custody until Thursday, July 10 to appear in the same court via videolink.
