POLICE are at the scene of a road traffic accident in the heart of Belfast City Centre this morning.

A cyclist was knocked down at the zebra crossing at Donegall Place, the main shopping thoroughfare in the city.

A paramedic crew is at the scene tending to the victim.

It is not yet known the extent of the cyclist’s injuries
