DETECTIVES investigating UDA mob violence in Larne five weeks ago have arrested a man this morning under the Terrorism Act.
The suspect was detained in Ballymena, Co Antrim during a planned swoop.
He has been taken to the serious crime suite in Antrim for questioning.
It brings to 16 the number of people arrested as part of the investigation into the attacks on homes in Larne on Sunday, March 30.
Three men arrested yesterday were later released without charge.
At the time, ACC George Hamilton blamed the attacks on the south east Antrim brigade of the UDA.
He claimed the UDA in the area were “on a power trip”.
