A 31-year-old man is expected in court later today charged in connection with a burglary at a bookmaker’s office earlier this month.
The man is charged with the break-in at offices in Patrick Street, Derry which occurred on the evening of the 4 April, Grand National day.
Entry was gained to offices within the premises and unsuccessful attempts were made to open a number of safes.
A key safe, mobile phone and an internet router were allegedly stolen from the premises.
The accused is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court.
