WOMAN LEFT BADLY SHAKEN AFTER CAR HIJACKED

Police scenePOLICE in Newtownabbey are appealing for information following a report of a hi-jacking last night, Sunday 13 April.

Just before 10 pm, it was reported that whilst parked in the Innis Walk area a female driver of black Mitsubishi Colt was approached by two males. One of the males opened the driver’s door and dragged her from the vehicle.

The car was later found burnt in the Camcross Park area a short time later.

The victim was not injured but was left badly shaken.

Police would ask anyone who has any information to contact police at Newtownabbey on the non emergency number 101.
