TWO people arrested by detectives investigating dissident republican terrorism have been released from custody.
A 49-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on Friday after officers from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit seized what they believe to be a gun and paramilitary clothing.
The pair were taken to the serious crime suite in Antrim for questioning.
However, they have now been released unconditionally.
Officers recovered the suspected weapon during a search of premises in the Drumbeg area.
The clothing was found in a second property in the same area.
