POLICE PROBE WEST BELFAST ROBBERY BID

PSNI logoDETECTIVES in West Belfast are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery that occurred in the Grosvenor Road area on the morning of Monday 17 March.

At approximately 10.45am, it was reported to police that a male, armed with a screwdriver, entered a licenced premises. He made off empty handed and headed in the direction if Divis. No-one was injured in the incident.

The male is described as being between 5’6″ and 5’8″ tall and of medium build. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with blue stripes, a green t-shirt and black woollen cap.
