BODY RECOVERED FROM BELFAST’S RIVER LAGAN

PSNIPOLICE are not treating as suspicious the death of a man who fell into Belfast’s River Lagan.

PSNI divers recovered the body of man who is believed to be in his 30s.

The emergency services were alerted after ewitnesses reported seeing a man going into the water at Donegall Quay near the city centre around teatime on Friday evening.

Fire crews, paramedics and a special police underwater unit were in involved in the search late into Friday night.
