DETECTIVES at Musgrave Street CID are appealing for information over an attempted hijacking in south Belfast.

It happened on the Donegall Road in the early hours of Sunday, March 2.

Shortly after 2.00 am a male wearing a balaclava approached a car as it was driving up the Donegall Road.

The driver swerved around the male and drove off. No one was injured during this incident.

Detectives would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Musgrave CID on 0845 600 8000.
