DETECTIVES in west Belfast are investigating a shooting incident in the Norglen Gardens area on Wednesday evening.

Police say a report was received at around 7 pm that a male had received gun shot wounds to both arms and legs.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to contact CID in Grosvenor Road on 0845 600 8000.
