Detective Chief Inspector Alan Little appeals for information over serious north Belfast assault

DETECTIVES in North Belfast are appealing for information following a serious assault that happened in the Antrim Road area.

At this time, it is believed that four men were assaulted by two men at around 4.50am on Sunday morning, February 23.

One of the men, aged 24, has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are currently described as critical.

Two men, aged 31 and 23, have been arrested in connection with this and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Alan Little is appealing for information: “Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact us in CID in Antrim Road Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
