MAN HELD IN NORTH BELFAST MURDER BID PROBE

Strabane PSNI stationDETECTIVES have arrested a suspect over a near fatal stabbing in north Belfast on Sunday.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the knifing and is being held at Musgrave Street PSNI station for questioning.

He was detained after a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in Glenbryn Park.

The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Detectives at Antrim Road CID have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
