DETECTIVES have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder after two teenagers were assaulted in west Belfast.

The suspect was held after police received reports of a 19-year-old woman and a boy aged 16 being attacked at a house in the North Howard Street area.

The incident allegedly happened around 3.30 am on Monday morning.

The victims’ injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
