A TEENAGE boy was beaten on Friday night after being dragged into an alleyway.

The 17-year-old was grabbed outside a shop in Hopewell Crescent by two men shortly b b before 11 pm.

The youth was then attacked by a number of people who were waiting in a nearby alleyway, say police.

The victim was teated for injuries to his face and a suspected fractured wrist.

The PSNI have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
