MAN SERIOUSLY ILL AFTER EAST BELFAST STABBING

Ardmore PSNI stationDETECTIVES are investigating after a man was left seriously ill in hospital following a stabbing in east Belfast.

The 27-year-old is reported to have been attacked by another man at the junction of Castlereagh Road and Euston Parade at around 22:15 GMT on Wednesday.

The man sustained a knife wound to his neck and is described as “serious but stable”.
