FOUR people were taken to hospital following a collision involving three cars in the Waterside area of Londonderry last night.

The occupant of one of the cars had to be cut free by firefighters.

The collision happened shortly after 6.15 pm at Derry’s Crescent Link close to the local retail park.

The four casualties were taken to the nearby Altnagelvin Hospital for treatment to their injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
