DUP councillor Phillip Brett condemns sectarian graffiti daubed in Glengormley

DUP councillor Phillip Brett has condemned those who daubed sectarian graffiti on a sign close to Glengormley town centre.

The sectarian slur ‘HUN HOLE’ was written on the ‘Welcome to Glengormley’ sign near the Bellevue Bridge sometime last weekend.

Councillor Brett condemned the graffiti as “offensive”.

“This was an attempt to demonise and divide the local community,” he added.

He praised council staff who acted swiftly to remove the graffiti.
