DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team have launched a murder probe after the discovery of a body in north Belfast.
The body of the male was found in a lake in north Belfast.
The remains were discoverd in Alexandra Park by police shortly shortly after 3.30 pm
Undertakers have removed the body to a mortuary where a post mortem is to be carried out to give a cause of death.
Detectives and forensic crime scene investigators spent the afternoon after the scene looking for clues.
MIT officers have appealed for information about the death and want anyone who was in the area from 830 am to 9.30 am to contact them on 0845 600 800.
