Police in Lisburn hunt hammer gang who robbed pizza delivery man of food order

DETECTIVES are hunting a gang armed with a hammer who robbed delivery driver of his pizza orders.

The driver was approached by the three men at Llewellyn Avenue, Lisburn, some time between 2.20 am and 2.40 am on Sunday morning.

He was left badly shaken after the gang stole his pizza order. No money was taken in the robbery.

Detectives in Lisburn CID have appealed for anyone with information about the robbery to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

One line of inquiry is that the gang ordered the pizzas and lay in wait until the drive arrived to rob him.
