Police probe carjacking in west Belfast

DETECTIVES are investigating after a woman was the victim of a carjacking in west Belfast.

The victim was dragged from her car by three men during the hijacking.

She was not injured in the incident which happened in the Whitecliff Crescent area at around 10.20 pm on Saturday night.

Police later found her a grey Peugeot 5008 burnt out just over an hour later in the Glenside Road area of the city

Detectives at Grosvenor Road CID have appealed for witnesses to the carjacking to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
