DETECTIVES have recovered what they have described as “viable explosive devices” at two house during a number of searches.
Police received a report of a suspect object at a property in Abercorn Park, Portadown shortly before 5 pm on Friday.
At 5.30 pm, a second report was received about another suspect object, this time at a house in Laurel Heights in Tandragee.
Army Technical Officers were tasked to both properties and the two devices were made safe.
A police spokesperson said that no terrorist involvement is suspected at this stage.
Detectives are investigating a link to an assault which happened in the village of Laurelvale in June.
