POLICE have smashed a cannabis factory and seized £175,000 worth of plants.
The raids were carried out by Portadown Neighbourhood Police TeamPT and E District Tactical Crime Team on Thursday night, August 1.
The search in the Riverside recovered £175,000 of cannabis plants under cultivation.
Police say wiring in the house had been tampered with to facilitate the cannabis factory.
“This seizure has enabled us, with the help of the local community, to make it more difficult than ever for people to obtain illegal drugs in Portadown,” said Portadown PSNI.
A 40 year old female has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
