Police investigate after woman’s car is hijacked at knifepoint in Belfast

POLICE are investigating after a woman was left badly shaken when her car was hijacked at knifepoint in Belfast.

The victim was about to put money into a parking meter in Corporation Street just before 9 am Thursday.

She was approached by a man holding what she believed to be a knife to her throat.

He took her car keys and drove off.

The woman was not physically hurt but was left very badly shaken by her ordeal.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
