DETECTIVES are questioning a man over serious offences following an incident in Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh on Saturday.
The 41-year-old is being quizzed about possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, common assault and threats to kill.
The man was arrested in the Fairgreen Street area of the town.
It came after police received a report at around 6.40pm that the man had arrived at a house and made threats to a woman aged in her 20s.
It is also believed that a man in the house was assaulted but did not require hospital treatment.
The 41 year old man remains in custody in Enniskillen PSNI station assisting police with their inquiries.
