DETECTIVES have appealed for information after a puppy died in an arson attack.
A woman has been taken to hospital following the attack in Glenavy, County Antrim.
The woman had tried to put out the fire in a van parked on Main Street, Glenavy.
The three-month-old dog that was in the van at the time was killed.
Police received a report of the blaze at about 3.20 am on Monday.
A motive for the attack is still being investigated and anyone with information is asked to ring detectives on 0845 600 8000.
