Detectives question man over murder bid on teenager

 MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 19-year-old was assaulted in Belfast.

The assault happened the Stanhope Street area at around 3.20am on Sunday, say police.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with head injuries described as “serious”.

Another 19-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently helping police with their inquiries.
