Bash Street Theatre will perform The Strongman at Belfast’s Festival of Fools

IT’S official – the minutes are ticking down to the start of the 10th Festival of Fools on Thursday, May 2.

The opening ceremony starts at 6pm in Saint Anne’s Square, just off Donegall Street.

Bash Street Theatre will recreate the charm of the silent movie era with their latest production – The Strongman.

Expect Heroes (yay), Villians (boo), love (awh) and supreme slapstick and acrobatic prowess, served with lashings of bellylaughs and live music.

The multinational members of Hip Cirq Europ will be putting the finishing touches to what promises to be a breathtaking fusion of contemporary circus, hip hop and parkour.

Shows are at 8pm on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4, in T13.
