Sgt Brian Caskey warns of IPAD AND mobile phone thefs in New Lodge area

THE PSNI is seeking help in catching a six-strong robbery gang in north Belfast.

Said Sgt Brian Caskey of York Street PSNI station: “We had two more incidents reported in the area of the Antrim Road near the New Lodge Road on Tuesday afternoon.

“We are appealing for information in relation to these incidents which occurred at approx 4pm today. A mobile phone and I pad were taken by a group of up to six males.”

Last month three mobile phones were stolen from school pupils as they head home close to the New Lodge Road.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to ring police on 0845 600 8000.
