Police quizz five over attempt to force their way into Antrim house

DETECTIVES are quizzing three men and two women over an incident at a house in Antrim on Tuesday afternoon.

A gang attempted to force their way into a house in the Dublin Road area at around 2.30pm but their way was blocked by the occupant.

They suspects made off in a silver coloured people carrier.

A short time later, police stopped a car matching the description in the Seagoe Road area of Craigavon in Co Armagh and arrested three men and two women.

They are currently in custody assisting detectivs with their enquiries.
