Police probe north Belfast stabbing

DETECTIVES are investigating after a man was stabbed by a masked male attacker in north Belfast.

The victim was walking along the Silverstream Road around 6 am when he stabbed.

The 22-year-old sustained puncture wounds to his chest, legs and arms during the attack.

The PSNI said: “He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.”

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the attack, or who has any information in relation to it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
