Police investigate fatal car crash in Co Down

A 19-year-old man has died following a road crash in Banbridge, Co Down.

The accident happened on the Castlewellan Road in the townland of Ballyward at around 3.30pm on Sunday.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.

It was the second accident on Sunday.

There was also another crash just after 1pm in Omagh on the main Omagh to Newtownstewart Road.
