Detectives arrest man in dissident republican terror probe

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch have arrested a man over dissident republican activity.

The 43-year-old was detained in the Belfast area on Thursday and was taken to the Anrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

He can be held for 48 hours before detectives have to release him, charge him or apply to a court for an extension to his detention.
