Aisling Awards compare Ivan Little

THE Aisling Awards are being held in Belfast’s Europa Hotel this evening.

Guest speaker was Alliance leader and Justice Miniaster David Ford MLA.

Compare for the evening is actor and former UTV reporter Ivan Little.

Winners include:

Person of the Year went to Olympic athlete Michael McKillop.

Cumann Cultúrtha Mhic Reachtain picked up the Gaeilge award

Roll of Honour Award went to Fr Des Wilson

Belfast Brand Award went to The Mac Arts & Culture Centre

Education Award went to Methodist College

Outstanding Sporting Achievement Award went to Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlon on behalf of the Olympic boxing team.
