MAN PUNCHED IN FACE AND LAPTOP STOLEN AT GUNPOINT IN NORTH BELFAST

POLICE are hunting gun toting thugs who assaulted a man before making off with his laptop.

The 22-year-old victim was approached in Skegoneill Avenue by three men dressed in dark clothes around 12.30 am this morning.

The man was punched and threatened with what is believed to be a handgun and also had his a wallet containing cash as well as a Blackberry phone stolen.

The victim was badly shaken but was not injured.

Police have appealed for information about the assault or have been offered to buy a laptop or Blackberry phone to get in touch.
