TWO PENSIONERS DIE IN SEPARATE ACCIDENTS

PSNI probing death pensioner’s death in three vehicle accident

TWO PENSIONERS have died following separate overnight accidents.

One man in his 70s was involved in the accident on the main Lisburn to Ballynahinch road at around 10.30pm last night.

Three other people were treated in hospital. The road remains closed today with traffic diversions in place.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the crash to contact them

Meanwhile, a 74-year-old man has died following an accident involving a forklift truck near Antrim.

The accident happened on the Lenagh Road, off the main Antrim to Ballymena road, just before 7pm.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone who was on the road at the time and saw the accident to contact them.
