Police appeal over arson attack in Antrim

DETECTIVES are investigating after a home had to be evacuated following an arson attack.

A property in Donore Crescent in the Greystone area was deliberately set alight during the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police say nearby residents were forced to leave their home while fire and rescue crews tackled the well developed blaze at the vacant end-terrace house.

Three fire engines and crews brought the fire under control shortly after 5am.

PSNI are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
