JET2HOLIDAYS ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS IN TRADE TEAM

Jet2holidays is continuing to bolster its commitment to working with independent travel agency partners by announcing four promotions and two vacancies in its award-winning trade team.  

Nikki McGuire has been promoted to the role of National Sales Manager, while Jade Evers, Kat Davies and Freya Sutcliffe will take up new positions as Business Development Managers for the UK’s leading tour operator to many leisure destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands. 

In her new role, Nikki will work alongside the teams other National Sales Manager, Simon Marshall, and will be responsible for looking after consortia and key accounts across the UK. She will also manage a team of Trade Sales Executives and Business Development Managers to ensure that they continue to deliver the best knowledge, support and data so that independent travel agents can successfully grow their businesses.

Having previously worked as an independent travel agent, before joining the Jet2holidays’ trade team over eleven years ago, Nikki brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role. Jade Evers, Kat Davies and Freya Sutcliffe, have all been promoted to Business Development Managers.

Jade has worked at Jet2holidayssince 2020 covering the North East of England and Yorkshire, while Kat joined the company four years ago and is responsible for North Wales and Northern Ireland.

In their new roles, they will now mentor other Sales Executives to increase sales of Jet2holidays through the UK travel trade. Freya Sutcliffe looks after homeworkers nationally and has been with Jet2holidays for over three years.

In her new role, Freya will focus on strengthening Jet2holidays’ relationships with homeworkers even further, to help them increase sales and grow their businesses. 

The package holiday specialist is also recruiting two Sales Executives to join its 14-strong trade team, with one Sales Executive covering Scotland and the other Midlands.

The successful candidates will be responsible for working in collaboration with independent travel agency partners to help them market, promote and sell package holidays for them to grow their businesses and increase sales. 

These latest promotions and vacancies come just weeks after Jet2holidays announced the appointment of Lloyd Cross as General Manager – Trade Sales.

It demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to investing in its independent travel agency partners to give them the tools and skills to attract customers and sell package holidays to drive business growth, as part of its Partners2Success approach.
