Two men to face Ballymena Magistrates’ Court over brutal house attack

TWO men, aged 35 and 43 have been charged with a number of offences over a brutal house assault.

They have been charged with aggravated burglary with intent to commit GBH, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and intimidation.

The pair are to face Ballymena Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, November 24.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges follow an aggravated burglary in the Drumtarsey area of Coleraine on Thursday when a man was brutally attacked.

He told police that the men stormed his home around 2 pm armed with a gun.
