POLICE APPEAL OVER WEST BELFAST ROBBERY OF DELIVERY DRIVER

PSNIDETECTIVES investigating a street robbery in the area of Ross Street, west Belfast on Friday 24 April are appealing for witnesses.

It was reported that at approximately 10.30pm a 37 year old woman was making a food delivery when she was approached by four males.

One of the males asked her for the keys of her car while a second male grabbed her by the arm and stole a sum of cash from her pocket.

The males made off in the direction of Albert Street.

Two of the males is described as being 5’7”tall, aged 17-18 years old, of thin build and wearing hooded tops with the hoods pulled up.

The other two males were younger and shorter.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have any information which they believe may assist with the investigation to contact Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
