THE Probation Board in the North says it is unbowed after a bomb attack on its offices in Derry last night.

Dissident republicans are being blamed for planting the device at the PB’s offices in Crawford Square just before 11 pm.

In a statement this afternoon, the Probation Board said the attack had put members of the public at risk and “caused huge disruption” in the area.

The statement added: “We appreciate the messages of support from partners, politicians and local groups which we are extremely grateful for.

“And we can reassure the public we will continue to work to make local communities safer.”
