THE girlfriend of a man accused of murdering his pal in a frenzied knife attack has faced a court this morning.
Stephanie Todd, 25, of Russell Court, Claremont Street, Belfast, is charged with assisting an offender and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Father of one Kyle ‘Twin’ Neil, 23, died after being stabbed at a barbecue in Comber, Co Down, at the weekend.
His body was found in the boot of a car in south Belfast.
Todd was released on bail and is due to appear in court again on June 10 after police had no objections to her being freed subject to strict conditions.
On Tuesday, her boyfriend Wesley Harry Vance appeared in court in Newtownards charged with Mr Neil’s murder.
The 26-year-old has admitted carrying out the stabbing but claimed to detectives that it out of self defence.
He has been remanded in custody to Maghaberry Prison.
