MEN HUNTED OVER ARMED SUPERMARKET ROBBERY

Police scene armed copPOLICE in Lurgan are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a supermarket in the Highfield Park area of Craigavon on Tuesday 3rd March.

The PSNI say a report was received at around 5.40 pm that three males armed with knives had threatened members of staff and made off from the supermarket on foot with a sum of money.

The first male was wearing a black hooded top and tracksuit bottoms with a black scarf over his face.

The second male was of stocky build and wore a grey hooded top, tracksuit bottoms with a black scarf over his face.

The third was around 5’10” tall, average build and wore a red and black zip up top, light blue jeans and a black scarf covering his face.

The staff members were not injured but were left badly shaken.

Inspector Colin Patterson would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact police in Lurgan on 101 quoting reference number 888030315.
